Passiflora incarnata, also known as Maypop, wild apricot and purple passionflower is a species of passion fruit native to the temperate, Eastern region of Turtle Island, a relative of the tropical varieties known variously as maracuya, lilikoi, parcha and sweet cup. In this workshop, we will endeavor to connect with the spirit, energy and medicine of Passiflora incarnata, taste P. incarnata foods and medicinal preparations, prepare a tincture from fresh passionflower vine and discuss the historical significance of this powerful plant ally.
