Join urban gardeners Cheryl Browne and Jess Turner as they share small-space techniques for growing a bountiful vegetable and herb garden.

Growing your own food and plant medicine in the city can feel overwhelming. With patience, however, urban gardening can be empowering, fun and give you and your family a home-grown source of delicious food.

During this three-hour workshop we'll discuss the ins and outs of starting your own edible garden at home—whether you have access to a rooftop, backyard, fire escape or window ledge.

The workshop will cover:
- Sourcing seeds and supplies
- Best practices for growing food when all you have is a windowsill
- Which plants are best when sun and space are minimal
- What to do in your garden this spring for a robust fall harvest
- And more!

Nothing is more satisfying than the taste of a fresh tomato or ear of corn—mid-summer—plucked fresh from your own garden. Come out and get a jumpstart on gardening this season!
